About this course
Module 2 will provide you with an update on the most frequently used prosthetic restoration – crown restoration. This series of 4 webinars will focus on the conventionally luted crown.
The online webinars will update you with the latest knowledge on all aspects of crown restoration: From treatment planning, selection of materials to preparation and luting procedures.
You will learn:
- Treatment planning
- The rational and quantified preparation procedure
- Update on preparation instruments
- Colour, bite registration and interim restorations
- Crown materials for the digital production line
- Luting materials
- The single crown from a scientific standpoint
These webinars will prepare you to take part in the prosthetic hands-on courses which will be launched in early 2022.
Curriculum Vitae - Dr Henrik Skjerven
Dr Skjerven has completed his specialization in Prosthodontics from the University of Oslo, Norway in 2010. He maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics in Oslo, Norway.
He has taught as a clinical instructor and researcher in the postgraduate program at the Department of Prosthetics and Oral Function, University of Oslo, Norway since 2010.
Dr Skjerven has written several scientific papers published in international journals focusing on digital applications in implant dentistry.
Dr Skjerven lectures nationally and internationally on digital applications in prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He is also involved in hands-on courses on different topics including intraoral scanning technologies and operative prosthetic procedures.
