Participation in module 2 requires the fulfilment of module 1.

Clinical skill training in advanced intraoral scanning operations. 

In this 1.5 day course, you will acquire skills for the advanced operation of an intraoral scanner in clinical dental practice.

The participants will learn how to evaluate and optimize IO scan quality for advanced prosthetic rehabilitation as well as how to operate the extended features of the 3Shape TRIOS Scanner (i.e. the Treatment excitement apps).

All participants will be trained individually and learn how to perform a successful scan of advanced prosthetic restorations.  

The course will be practical training in advanced simulation units where the participants will perform tooth preparations and scan them afterwards.

IO scan technology – how the technology can be used to optimize the treatment result 

Scan strategies for veneers, tooth retained bridge, and implant-retained restorations.

How to integrate a mock-up of the desired restorations into the IO scan.

What is offered during the two days program:

  • 16 CE hours of theoretical lecture and hands-on practice
  • Each participant has its working station and individual instruments and devices
  • A customized microscope for each participant (Zeiss or Global) with HD camera and individual monitors
  • 3D microscopic demonstration
  • All tools and materials used during the course
  • Scrubs will be provided for each day
  • Lunch and coffee/snacks
