Advanced Curriculum Program

The curriculum program is designed to train dental professionals exclusively at the Colosseum dental group in different clinical disciplines. This program is conducted online and onsite at the state-of-the-art Colosseum Dental Academy teaching center in Oslo, Norway. The courses provide theoretical lectures and hands-on training on specially designed 3D teeth and models installed on phantom heads. Each discipline has several online and onsite modules for dental professionals.

Online

Online courses are available for all dentists and specialists in the Group. The disciplines available are Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Surgery. Each discipline contains two-course modules.

Each module includes 4 to 7 on-demand lectures in a video format with hands-on demonstrations. The lectures are recorded at the state-of-the-art Colosseum Dental Academy teaching centre in Oslo, Norway. The participants will receive a certificate upon completion and be eligible to participate in the onsite hands-on course in Oslo on the specific module and discipline.

Endodontics

This online course will cover primary endodontic treatment including biological concepts, diagnosis protocol and clinical procedures with live demonstrations.

Prosthodontics

This online course will cover necessary treatment planning procedures, diagnostics, as well as how we can use modern technology to establish common treatment goals with our patients.

Surgery

This course aims to give you a better ability to handle patients in everyday practice when the need to perform surgery occurs, either planned or surprising.

Onsite

After participating in the online modules within each discipline, you are eligible to enrol to the on-site part of the Advanced Curriculum Program. These courses are conducted at the state-of-the-art Colosseum Dental Academy teaching centre in Oslo, Norway.

During the courses, the participants will be working on individual custom-made working stations with operative microscopes connected to monitors with HD quality.

Endodontics

In these courses on primary endodontic treatment and retreatment, you will be updated on new biological and technical concepts and procedures for predictable outcomes.

Prosthodontics

In these courses, you will acquire the necessary technology behind the intraoral scanners and how the technology affects clinical procedures in prosthetic dentistry.

Surgery

This hands-on course aims to give you a better ability to handle patients in everyday practice when the need to perform surgery occurs, either planned or surprising. We serve practical training using models and pig-jaws.
